We have to understand what is happening. our traditional or in a proper manner, our Royal government dont have the power to negotiate with Foreign countries on their own. that is where Nigeria government should come in but they are not interested either.
If you dont know, Benin was Destroyed and conquered, the wealth of a nation preserved by the people for more than a millennium worth trillions of Pounds looted. the Monarch now is completely powerless, subjected to the authority of the fraudulent nation called NIGERIA
Other countries that demanded for the return of their stolen artifacts understand the worth of their Relicts. every events that took place in Benin kingdom were recorded by Bronze, Gold, Brass, Etc Casting. the British knew the atrocities they committed destroying a Sovereign nation and, in 1914 Amalgamated it to a totally different people with different religious beliefs, way of life then handed over power to them to keep the Edos are the ruled. the fight for the return is beyond the Oba of Benin.
The Oba on several occasions called the state and federal government attention to the matter. Nigerian as a country is a British business ground while the leaders their puppet. you think the Oba is happy, Hell no. you don't expect Him to come out alone ranting with no Government backing.
