A lot of people do not understand what international diplomacy entails and what it is all about mutual respect.
In Nigeria there is what we call "see finish" in pidgin language. Thats exactly what is happening here with the statement of fantastically corrupt credited to Cameron.
It is true that there's corruption in all countries, and this is a fact known to all, but in international circle diplomacy ensures that high ranking officials don't make reckless comments concerning other countries. It is expected that they should be decent both in public and in private as regards their utterances concerning others. The reason for such verbose jest is what we call "see finish".
During Gej, there were no statement of such ridicule directly inferring on the sensibility and status of a people and Nation.
What happened here is not about corruption alone but deriding and laughing at a nation, his President and her people. Buhari is the cause, and please don't ask me why.

Ask your self why should Cameron and whoever was with him, laugh at you and your country, at the eve of a summit of anti corruption put together by them, and expected that hey will also make their inputs.
After the statement they laughed at it. Deriding your so called president with a statement only fit for unwelcomed personality as he added " he is paying his way to the conference.
What does that signify?
I think Buhari has made mockery of himself everywhere that he's not being taking seriously, neither is he of any importance. This cannot be as a result corruption itself alone but because of a integrity failure, over rating of ones esteem and efforts, such that people now laugh at you behind your back. This was very common in secondary school days where some students always like to show of to their mates that they know it all, pride full and haughty, but in the exams comes out at the bottom. We used to laugh behind their back because they tell lies that they scored very high. And to hide their shame they keep up acting and puffing up, thinking nobody is aware of their failure. So when they demonstrate their fake posture people laugh behind them. Now can you see the similarities between that and the case of Buhari.
In the case of Gej, they knew he was doing his best, though you may say it wasn't good enough, but it was sincerely evidenced through his actions that he was serious, hence no one could laugh and deride him or his intentions but rather sympathetic to the his challenges pointing out to all with a sense of humility and respect where he wasn't doing enough.
Buhari archaic method of fighting corruption and holier than thou hypocritical self deceit is nothing but an invitation to ridicule, jest, and a silly nonsense to observers. A system severed from all forms of rationality, modern philosophy of democratic governance and debarred of reasonable legal procedures, cut short of most honourable deserving respect to rule of law, is the least laughable.
Go back to the example above. What do you do when a student who failed physics for example, ( thinking nobody knew about it) is trying to teach his mate who is better than himself. All you do from the distance is to laugh at him.
A corrupt Buhari is a paradoxical misfit in the fight against corruption, hence the hysteria.
Nigeria went from being corrupt to fantastically corrupt under Buhari because it is not heard of anywhere before now where a well acclaimed corrupt man assume the head of government begin to fight others and claim that his country is notoriously corrupt save himself.
A country that accept such a system cannot be described better.
Now is that not fantastic in itself?
Please join the laugh with Cameron.
Nigeria is fantastically corrupt......Qed.
