From all indications the northern politicians and Hausa / Fulani Emirs plus their associate Yoruba monarchs in Ondo & Osun States (where the Itsekhiri oil fields were forcefully taken away from Delta and Edo States indigent oil communities and “bequeathed” to the Yorubas by the north controlled federal government) have now made both these two Yoruba monarchs namely the Oni of Ife and Olugbo of Ugboland the two richest black African traditional rulers by virtue of our oil blocs and wells allocated to them.

Let’s not mention these northerners who are many times richer like the Babangidas, Dantatas, Bayeros, Lukmans, Atikus, Danjumas, Dangotes and Abachas (whose wife said that no matter how much of the Abacha oil-loot is recovered from their family can never be as POOR as Dangote acclaimed to be the richest African with up to $20 billion assets and with good reason because their oil block in Delta state has a very high yield of about 9 billion barrels reserve and at $100 per barrel optimal bench-mark makes their family worth about $900 billion little wonder why they see Dangote with his little $20 billion asset as a very poor man indeed).
You see why they are very secretive about their astronomical oil wealth that has made the Hausa/Fulani the richest black men in the world as many of them are far richer than the wealthiest black Americans like Oprah Winfrey and Bill Cosby whose assets are just in the region of $2 billion at most and are officially considered as the richest blacks in the world more or less. Because they know that if we Niger Deltans know their secret source of wealth we will surely stir up the proverbial “hornets nest” against them as the Akwa Ibom Senator did in the senate when the same northerners vehemently opposed the passing of the PIB because it will make a provision of 10% profit of all oil companies payable to all oil producing communities translating into the largest indigenously owned OIL BLOC WORTH BILLIONS OF DOLLARS ANNUALLY.

I just thank God for the life of the Niger Deltan Senator Ita Enang from Akwa Ibong State who truly represented us well in this matter by exposing the truth about this secret they have been hiding from us for over 20 years and also for the life of the Niger Deltan President Jonathan who adamantly refused to renew these exploitative IOC’s oil lease for Shell, Chevron, Total and Agip for the last six years until the PIB is passed into law that will surely favor our oil communities and people once we have direct access to those funds for our wealth empowerment and community development projects.
Since these oil bloc leasers have opted to contest our 10% oil “ownership” in the National Assembly so also we too will contest their oil bloc “leaser-ship’ in the International Courts which surely has jurisdiction in crude oil related matters as it is the most valuable international product in the world.
