What is BENDEL SOCIO-CULTURAL FOUNDATION ?

BEDSCUF is a body of professionals, technocrats and voluntary individuals with shared value, visions, goals and mutual understanding. BEDSCUF fundamental objective is to articulate, champion and implement solutions for the challenges facing communities and people of the formal Bendel Region of Nigeria.

Her mission is to create a medium of exchange of culture, traditions, religion, share concern for the growth and development of the people. Promote peaceful co-existence and better conflict resolution among members of the formal Bendel state communities. BEDSCUF also plan to work with any NGO, Philanthropist and other organisations interested in the socio- culture development of the region.

AIMS AND OBJECTIVES

Engage in programs and seminals to promote socio wellness and cultural integration.
Organise and sponsor local language media in the region, theatre arts, common wealth games, culture exibitions, joint fest and carnivals.

Educate and mobilize Bendel people in Nigeria and Diaspora.
Generate fund to sponsor or finance her day to day activities and engagements
Co-ordinate sports activities among members of the formal Bendel communities.
Operate media (Edo Nation radio), directed to programs, interviews and share information on the common values of the people.

Who can be a member of BEDSCUF?

Member must be an adult of the formal Bendel state of Nigeria (Ondo, Edo and Delta state), that believe in BEDSCUF share values, culture and oneness of the people.
Must as well be educated up to a secondary school level
Board of dirrectors must have a means of livelihood (working), a professional, educator or an entrepreneur.
Board of directors must have a comprehensive understanding of the formal Bendel state communites, position, culture, history, political situation and community variation.
Board of dirrectors must be able to express his or her self in public and media interview.
Must complete the BEDSCUF membership form and pass her interview, except special membership, recommendation, appointment or employed approve by majority of the executive board of BEDSCUF

ORGANS OF BEDSCUF

Operative body are functionaries, employees, youths including women working for the BEDSCUF organization
Executive Body are main stock holders, legislatures and executive operative of the BEDSCUF.
Special Stock Holders include BEDSCUF sponsors, philanthropists, co-operate NGOs , and shared value organisation in colaboration with BEDSCUF
